Scarcity of good study material particular in sociology for readers has been there since the inception of sociology. To meet out this requirement, an attempt is being made to provide result oriented, helpful in understanding, examination oriented material to the readers studying at graduation level. This work aims to cater academic need of readers particularly focusing on the understanding of Sociology from different parts of the world.
The authors are working as Professors in department of higher education in India and belongs to the state of Himachal Pradesh situated in northern India. Authors have also published numerous syllabus books for students studying at different level in Indian schools, colleges and universities.
Every effort has been made by the authors to come upto the expectations of the readers of all levels. Authors understands there is ample scope of further improvement in this work and would be very happy to receive a call from readers as well as from teachers and concerns raised by them and same will be gratefully acknowledged and addressed in next edition.
